Because we’re committed. Laser-focused. Monogamous to the bean. Also because the minute we offer 47 types of frappalappas, someone will ask for oat-mocha-almond-iced-vanilla-air. No. You get a flat white. And you’ll love it.

2. What makes your sando so… aggressively large?

We’re Brummies. We do things properly. If your jaw isn’t slightly concerned when you pick it up, have we even fed you? FWORFO sandos are engineered — structurally questionable, spiritually uplifting.

3. Are you really selling art, books, jewellery, fashion and fountain pens in a coffee shop?

Yes. Because Birmingham’s independent creators are unreal, and we don’t have time for boring shops that sell nothing but biscuits and disappointment. FWORFO is a caffeine-fuelled creative rave, and everyone’s invited.

4. Why open in a train station?

Because that’s where Brummies are most vulnerable and most in need of a powerful flat white — on the way to work, half awake, questioning their life choices. We’re here to turn that existential crisis into motivation.

5. What does FWORFO actually mean?

It means Flat White Or Fuck Off — said with warmth, affection, and a gentle Brummie shove. It’s not rude, it’s just honest. Like your nan.

7. Are your prices reasonable?

Yes. You’re paying for quality ingredients, local craft, independent artists, and a flat white that might actually fix your personality. We’re not the cheapest — but we’re worth every Brummie-bred penny.

8. How do you choose the creators you stock?

We look for Birmingham-based legends making cool stuff with passion and proper graft. Art, jewellery, books, fashion, fountain pens — if it’s made here and made well, we want it on our shelves. FWORFO is basically a creative group hug.

9. Do you support the local community?

Absolutely. FWORFO exists because of the community — the artists, makers, writers, baristas, culture-shifters, and flat-white addicts who make Birmingham magic. Expect collabs, events, pop-ups, and opportunities for anyone with something great to share.
